Research school for early stage researchers on Energy Efficiency of Networks and Distributed Systems

The Energy action of the GDR RSD in collaboration with the GDS EcoInfo and ASF (French Chapter of ACM SIGOPS) jointly organize the 2nd edition of E3-RSD in Dinard (Brittany, France) from October 1st to October 4th 2018.

This research school primarily targets early stage researchers working on distributed systems and networks, but can be of interest for more established researchers wanting to update their knowledge on energy-efficiency related topics. Presentations and discussions will be in English. A PhD symposium will allow participants to present their work.

The lectures will concern :

• Energy consumption of Internet of Things protocols
• Energy-efficiency for multi-core architectures
• Smart Grids
• Green networking
• Energy-aware Fog/Edge architectures
• Life-cycle and impacts of ICT devices
